Rekha Singh graduated from Langara College in year 2000 with a nursing diploma, and 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia as a Post-RN. More recently, in 2016, Rekha has completed her Master of Arts in Leadership with a focus in organizational change from Royal Roads University. Rekha's diverse experience in nursing includes critical care – ICU and PACU, emergency room nursing, outpatient diabetes, clinical nurse educator, regulation and pharmaceuticals. Throughout her career, Rekha has been a strong advocate for nurses and nursing practice and has promoted nursing professionalism and leadership at a regional and provincial level with registered nurses and student nurses in British Columbia. Rekha was previously employed at the College of Registered Nurses of BC for 4 years, where Rekha actively worked very collaboratively with ARNBC from the beginning to promote the nursing profession with registered nurses and student nurses in the province. Rekha hopes to bring her knowledge, skills and expertise to promote and advocate for the nursing profession in this exciting time of change for the nursing profession.
